One of our missions here at VRTECH is to provide a platform for and spotlight burgeoning startups in the vacation rental industry. And, we also want to help people in the short-term rental sector connect and learn from each other.
VRTECH Pitch Nights are one way to achieve this. At these events, we aim to establish a supportive network for professionals to come together and share timely, practical and inspirational knowledge, developing the pillars which will shape the future of our industry.
Over the following couple of months, we will be holding not one, but two Pitch Nights where young startups can pitch their ideas for 8 minutes to a crowd of short-term rental professionals.
These events are great fun for all involved and, if you’re a startup founder, a great opportunity to practise your pitch.

VRTECH Pitch Night at Short Stay Summit – 13th September, London, UK

Short Stay Summit is organised by three vacation rental associations – EHHA, STAA and VRMA. It takes place in Tobacco Dock, in the heart of East London’s business district.
This year’s edition will be dedicated to celebrating the resilience of the vacation rental industry. The event will be filled with educational talks and networking opportunities, drawing in vacation rental professionals from all over the world.
If you’re attending Short Stay Summit or just happen to be visiting London at the time, join us at VRTECH Pitch Night on 13th September, on the eve of the Short Stay Summit (venue TBC).

VRTECH Pitch Night at Vitur Summit – 28th/29th October (TBC), Málaga, Spain
Vitur Summit is a key event for the holiday rental sector in Spain, bringing together attendees and speakers from all over Europe.
The event will feature top-notch presentations, business insights, innovative content and networking opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to learn about and discuss a variety of topics from tech and sustainability to legislation.
